In a relationship you are not in control. You control things. You can use this when you are alone, but as soon as someone else gets involved, it can get out of control. Its a law, not a rule.


The more that you try to get someone to follow it, the more that it will feel like a rule .


You should never allow someone to use it as a rule, because it is just that… a rule.

If you ever have to ask about something that’s not in the rules, it’s because you are making it up. Your expectations are too high, your desire is too strong. If you have a rule, you should always tell the truth, and never make promises that are not in the rule. For example, you can promise to be there for a date, or to not be rude to people.
